A few people have pointed out that if they hadn’t made that decision, the end of the Oscars would have been Frances McDormand howling like a wolf which would have been far more memorable.

Tom Baker–era Doctor Who.
This seems classy by Hopkins. The man is 83 and America is still a fucked-up place in a pandemic and he didn’t think he’d win. I have no problems with him not being there.
As someone who grew up in Delaware County, I’m really proud of the fact the area was deemed depressing and bleak enough for one of these prestige-y type “girl murdered in small town” shows.
Nomadland
i called Frank and his creepy-book-reading-fiance, last week as the killers. I’m here for the next ten minutes for platitudes.
One thing: Why would Mare go to the same gas station where the mother of the first missing girl works? WHY? Is it the only gas station in town?
That is what I thought too. Can it be that easy? If not, I think it is the uncle who was staying at the house looking after his brother. He had a look that was unusual when he was asked by his brother, Jess’ dad, if he was sure he was OK to stay and watch their brother.
It’s really bothering me I can’t binge through this. Sometimes it better to come late to the party.
As a huge Devs fan I was hoping to see more of her, but unless we get loads of flashbacks that’s probably not the case.
she is looking after her dead son’s boy and, it seems, his teen mother
For anyone who watched Devs, Erin is played by Cailee Spaeny. Spaeny was Lyndon on Devs.
I kind of like this show, but man is it bleak. Almost everyone comes off as a jerk, at best. The only pleasant one is Guy Pearce’s visiting professor, which obviously means he’s the murderer.
Capaldi was the best actor to play the Doctor, but man, was he saddled with some awful scripts. There’s so much I love about Heaven Sent, but I have such a hard time dealing with the fact that it took place over billions of years and nothing deteriorated.
Happy to see Barrowman’s Jack back. Anxious to see it in Chibnall’s weird fast-forward-audiodrama-with-redundant-images run.
That’s great! I really do wish I agreed with you. And I’m glad that every era works for someone.
nothing will ever be funnier to me than twitter deciding they didn’t love chris pratt and an entire PR campaign being formed around the concept that no, you do love him.
Near as I can tell Jack is about 2100 years old which would make him roughly the same age as the Doctor.
I think Dec 25 would be a really good guess for when it will air, but what do I know.
