Did the markup on Civics go up? I sold them up until about 2009 and they only had about $800 in mark up. Selling one at a $2500 discount was unheard of.

I was the same way with the 350z. I’ve always loved all the Z cars.
Actually, Freeman is a running back, not a wide receiver.
An armed uprising would not be treasonous if the government is violating the Constitution. The government would be committing treason against the people, not the people against the government.
Military members swear an oath to 3 things in order of most important to least important. The first is to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The second is to obey the orders of the President, and the 3rd is to obey the orders of the officers over them.
Coming from a former member of the military, just wait and see how well it works out if the military is actually ordered to attack US citizens. We swear an oath to the Constitution, not politicians. We have a duty to not follow unlawful orders.
Are you willing to be the one kicking in the doors leading the charge when it comes time to confiscate them?
I didn’t know there was a war on guns. Last time I checked, we have a natural right to self defense. On the other hand, if someone does want to start a war on guns, I hope you’re willing to be the one kicking in the door leading the charge when it comes time to confiscate them, because people aren’t likely to give…
I’m sorry that’s the only experience you’ve had. As someone who has worked in the industry, I’ve seen both and everywhere in between. For some, its volume above all by discounting cars cheap and making the money back through shady practices, and others value the customer first knowing profits will come if the customer…
Again, they use the black book, which details auction prices for that type of car, not kbb.
Actually what most dealers do is look up the black book value which shows what similar cars are currently selling for at auction. They might cut $500 or $1000 off that when they first bring you numbers because they know you’re going to ask for more no matter what number they bring you. Prices are normally given low in…
I used to sell cars and ones listed like that Trans Sport would be pretty much a flat $500 trade in value. Cars over 10 years old were not sold on our lots (and we generally didn’t sell cars older than 7 years), so we would either take them to the auction or send them to the scrapyard.
It showed up!
“The animations seemed a little stiff.”
They do it all the time. It's even been reported here multiple times.
Holdback is more to help compensate for market variables, advertising, operational costs, etc, etc. Also, it’s not immediately given out. It’s more of a quarterly thing based on the vehicles sold... and most salesmen aren't paid off of holdback.
What's the over/under on Mayweather going bankrupt after his boxing career is over?
You should do another article with horrible customer stories from current/former dealers. I used to sell cars (at a mostly customer friendly dealership) and I can tell you I've had some pretty bad customer experiences in my day. A lot of customers do some light reading on the Internet and think they're going to take…
