I grow tired of your shrieking. This will be my last reply, and I'll be as thorough as possible so you might understand where you previously have not.

I have not missed any posts, and I have read them quite carefully. Like I said, saying that the game has a slower pace than some games, or that it relies on methodical pattern recognition and patience is not criticising a fault of the game. You are describing the gameplay premise.
"I get where you're going but for me it's not a good game." I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall here. Lets go over this again.
I'm not trying to convince you of anything, I'm trying to remove the "compared to other video games" part of the conversation because it's utterly irrelevant. I know it's relevant to your preferences, but it's not relevant to what makes Dark Souls a well designed experience, regardless whether you like it or not.
Again, I get the sense that you genuinely mean that you're saying, but what you're saying just isn't very accurate or fair to the game. You do have a lot of options without rebuilding your character, assuming you've done it semi-competent. Also, as slow as the game can be - it can also be pretty fast, using weapons…
Experience is a tricky mistress. One the one hand, I do not doubt for a second that you know best what kind of games and activities that you enjoy. On the other hand, experience is also easily influenced by many things, and can also be misleading simply by being incomplete. So if you wish to speak of experience, I…
I realize you were making a joke, but it seemed like you genuinely did not enjoy the game and I've just rarely heard that happening beyond people giving up due to the difficulty. I'm quite surprised that you didn't like the atmosphere or the story/lore, which I would contest is among the best in any game ranging all…
Mediocre how? I realize you're expecting angry fan comments, and might not have an answer ready to do your experience with the game justice, but I'd like to know why it was it left no impression.
You do have the best sword in Assassin's Creed at the beginning of every game... Or rather weapon I should say. In Assassin's Creed 1 this was the hidden blade that kills everything, including bosses, in one hit. In all subsequent games, your bare hands are ridiculously overpowered, to the point where I never had to…
Spiders aren't actually insects, they're arachnids. They have no antennas, and have eight legs, as opposed to six. Spiders and insects are part of the same family, arthopoda, but are not interchangeable. For shame, Kotaku, for shame.
