Fewer occupants die in SUVs per mile driven. And they have lower occupant insurance injury payouts. Depends on how you define safe. I’ll take less likely to die or be injured when choosing where to put my family.

I will say that the worse wreck I’ve seen was between a F-150 and a H2. A F-150 ran a red light and tried to cross a road with a 65 mph speed limit and pulled out in front of a H2. The H2 climbed the F150 front quarter and flew straight into the air and started flipping. No idea how many times it flipped.

I’ve seen videos of Miatas and Corvettes flipping. Your point is invalid.

I lean towards it being the Honda’s fault, but that’s not the most important point. The semi driver is either malicious or incompetent for not noticing the car and pulling over.
