There is something amiss on these engines and performance. I don’t see them being that great.
Yeah... mine was photo-chopped in a minute but yeah... a nice powered wing popping up, sliding backwards and tilting forward would be nice.
Woodgrain aside... (it could be replaced with metal or other solid plastics) it is a fantastic design in ergonomics if only the driver would not take his eyes of the road to see the side gauges, controls and radio... you know... the important stuff, looking at the road.

My X6 (2013) has two programmable vent timers. Most functions can also be “shortcut” to the radio station buttons... so one press of a button sends me to climate and use the wheel to click the pre-set timers... and I’m out of there.
If it could deploy the top edge above of those rear lights, it would look like a sweet stepped wing.
