I agree, stop and go is a killer, specially on a transmission. If you are in the highway, there is no wear in the clutches, they are solid and engaged.... the only wear would be the gear teeth if any.

My X6 was ~ $70K out of the dealer as a lease back in 2013 as I’ve been told by the sales guy. I found it and purchased it used for $48K (out the door) in 2016 with only 9K miles - really good deal.
