I was watching the live feed from Boston's CBS affiliate. At one point they had a talking head talking to a reporter in the field via cell phone. The woman on the phone stopped and said, "I just heard a third explosion". The talking head said he heard it through her phone too.

It's not accurate to claim that Harvard basketball players are "getting an education on an athletic scholarship". It would be much more accurate to say that "poor students are getting an education with generous financial aid".

I'm not so sure he would have a contract in the first place without the media circus. He's a very talented college quarterback. Plenty of those guys never get past the practice squad in the NFL.

I don't recall ever having a talk with my parents (I'm 28 now).

Considering that you're on a sports blog that frequently covers sports media, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "most of the readership".

yeah... that's interesting. seems the VA thing is (probably) true though.
