I'm not sure you can say the signature lines in any way that doesn't come off as extremely self-aware. Maybe in one sequel. It's a balance, like do you allow other characters to utter those key phrases?

As a big fan of the first Terminator movie, I was really bugged by the Genisys trailers, because it was, in essence, a list of all the lines which seem to have to be pushed into sequels out of obligation. Like I won't know I'm watching a Terminator sequel if no one says "I'll be back."
Well if he's in Macau now, there's no hope for him.
"Moons Over my Hammy" sounds like a stripper routine…
I am not offended. Usually I'm more bemused by internet questions (when I'm not petrified of getting yelled at).
Yeah, I was a big fan of that floaty teal top.
I can't tell if you're trying to be accusatory or genuinely curious. I've said that Clare isn't good either - jerk killed Van Helsing! - but this episode was about Lily's emergence as just as cold-blooded, so I focused on her potential comeuppance.
Yeah, well I hope John rips one of Poole's puppets apart, because they have it coming!
Oh yes, I agree. He's awful too. But I wanted to be fair about the awfulness. Harp too much on how Clare's overtly possessive view of his "mate" is extremely off-putting, and I run the risk of being too gender biased ;)
Loved the episode! It's wonderful that the show can carry itself without relying on Vanessa's direct presence. So creepy and enticing.
Second thought: I hope Clare kills Lily. Seriously, even his messed up sense of justice must sense that something is seriously wrong with her. I know he's really set on having the…
Well thanks! Now I don't have to re-watch the episode.
I'll have to re-watch the episode. I thought he wanted one and not the other.
I thought it was because he refined his procedure. Clare was a conglomeration of parts. Proteus and Lily are single bodies.
But Tom doesn't appear to want the VP or Presidency right now. I mean, once he realized it was a possibility he got…more calmly excited? about it.
Question: Why was Selina so upset that Tom wanted Treasury Secretary? He's helped her get the election - I didn't get her disgust/anger with him for not wanting VP
THANK YOU. That's been bugging me - so she's just going to leave her two relatively well-behaved "children" in a cave while she rides off on the rebellious one? And I agree with you on Jhaqo - when I saw the Dothraki one of my first worries was that she was just going to get treated like a sex-slave again for half a…
Even better!
That would be an interesting motivation - reanimation makes you want revenge on those who "killed" you.
Chinese foot massage parlors were rough enough, thank you!
The camera angles when she's happy are really interesting. When she smiles the camera seems to be above her or far from her, which makes her face (and smile) seem larger. This is in contrast to her evil camera angles - straight on and profile, zoomed in.
