I think maybe we're not arguing about the same thing. I don't care if she hates him - I agree that he's done maybe two things that weren't bad (1. Getting water to Carol's vegetables and 2. Apologizing for everything he's done thus far). And I don't think she's out of line at all in her general treatment of Phil. I

He was crossing off states he had no interest in checking!

Cool. I like it and will think on it.

Petty. She's being petty.

Hey, look! Another survivor who one-ups the cow skills of Todd and the gardening skills of Carol! Let's see how uncomfortable our slacker-survivor Phil (now Tandy, because no one respects him!) gets around this new cliche!

It was the sort of virus that killed everyone really fast and then also accelerated the deterioration process so that everyone turned to dust, making everywhere Tuscon.

You mean when Melissa didn't reciprocate? I could see how that would make someone uneasy, but I would add that new Phil's arrival was the catalyst to really send Todd into Panic mode.

But only when it comes to collecting the potential heads of her sibling.

Yes, I was thinking about that. If that's at the forefront of her mind constantly, it would sort of excuse her mindset.

I agree and disagree - we've seen her making strong decisions, taking control, doubting but still trying to move forward. I agree that Mereen is different because she doesn't want to leave/press on. She wants to stay and settle into controlling her new people. I disagree because she went out there, said one vague line

When I lived in China, one of my favorite foods was skewers of quail's eggs. They really aren't filling.

I thought it was a sad choice that all it took was another man to show up to have nice guy Todd turn towards the Phil-side of things.

Hey! If not for Bubo, that Kraken would have killed Perseus! Bubo and R2D2 - the clicks and beeps that hold the universe together.

I thought they'd cut to a pile of heads. You know, because Cersei is patient on this one particular thing.

I was expecting her to say more as well - as a leader, she could have done a bit more to calm emotions. Or afterwards.

Archer crossover: Cersei's final line will be "Just like the old gypsy woman said!"

Yes, I can see that - that is an interesting distinction, agency vs. power. Arguably, because she has power she has agency. She lacks power because she only gets it through others, but she uses it either way. I wonder - vaguely, because she's so unlikeable - if she'll ever be happy/content with anything.

"I'm getting to old for this…"
"I'll make you even richer."
"…amazing series of opportunities you offer!"

But to her credit, she did let Ser Barristan speak. She at least made an attempt to listen? I think that's progress.

I agree - I felt so thrilled.
