I think it’s a pretty decent list. Having played through Full Throttle over the weekend, there’s no way it’s a better game than Sam and Max. Also, went through The Dig again recently, and some of those puzzles... yeesh.

So basically...

Had been looking forward to a new Giant Sparrow title for a long time. Edith Finch didn’t disappoint. I thought the game pushed the boundaries of how we experience storytelling in video games. The joy and then agony of Gregory in the bathtub... arghhh.

Yep, no debate here. DKC2 is the greatest soundtrack of all time. Will take Earthbound for a close second.

Can’t think of a game I was more excited for recently. Witcher 3 maybe? I have been watching and re-watching the trailers waiting for Feb 9th to come. Am I gonna be wandering around digital Wyoming taking my time picking up empty beer cans tomorrow? Yes.
