Anyone know what kind of bump a stage 1 tune adds to its hp/torque figures?

Is this a ‘shop? An aftermarket conversion? The proportions look...off, somehow.

Can someone explain the different ratings with higher octane? I know that higher octane =\= “moar powah” and has more to do with eliminating knocking, but then why does it get higher power outputs with higher octane gas?

This is true. Assuming that your cargo items were small enough to squeeze past the seat, you could fit a decent amount back there. But man, the hatch makes all the difference. I even managed to fit a lawn aerator in the back (and impressed the guy at the Home Depot tool rental).

NVH: yep, that’s why I gave up my BRZ for a new GTI. Given my fairly lengthy commute, it was a beatdown. That and cargo space.

Maybe it’s down to flattering angles and such, but man, I am DIGGING the look of that new Focus Active thing. Hopefully it’s not like the Model X where looking at it from any angle more oblique than 3/4 front makes me want to break out the pitchforks.
