This is specifically a game developers award judged by industry professionals. Pokemons main games aren’t really doing anything groundbreaking so I wouldn’t expect it to win anything.

It’s a little bit annoying that People only ever use Zelda when talking about the switch. Yeah it’s a flagship for nintendo. but to me it’s a little overrated and it’s not like it’s the only game.
