This actually sounds pretty alright to me. I look forward to it. Would like to get a completed game under my belt before it comes out.

See I liked Abyss but I thought there was way too much bouncing between the same cities over and over and not as much dungeon crawling as there was in Vesperia and Symphonia. That really stopped me from doing a second run through the game. Well, that and not being able to carry over equipment.

I second this. Man I loved FFCC: Ring of Fates. Echoes of time was good too.

Level Design is a major factor on why people hate on it. You go over the same handful of maps over and over with only slight alterations. Throw in the silly monster closets and that makes some very sad gamers. I still found it a good game but compared to Origins it just feels rushed, very rushed.

This is a Tale of Woe. As much as this saddens me I'm not surprised. Namcos international marketing of this series has been poor and it's suffered because of it. At least I've got Abyss 3D coming on friday, or thursday if amazon keeps up it's current trend.
