I read somewhere that SteamOS doesn't support their entire catalogue yet since some games are PC or Mac only and don't support linux properly. Console to console comparisons don't make sense since they're extremely similar to each other with a difference of a few services and games. But console to pc comparisons have always been doable since there's an ocean of difference between the two platforms.
