No, despite being a major steam fanboy over here, I also agree they're pretty ugly. I'll probably still get the controller anyway since I already have a gaming pc... but man... I wish it looked better.

You're kind of outing yourself when you say you're tired of constantly upgrading your pc. I've only had to upgrade my pc once and i've had it playing the most demanding games for well over 8 years now. I just had to start turning ambient occlusion off until my new card arrived.
The glorious pc master race thing is meant to be more satire than truth. I've got a PS3 and high-end gaming pc and i'm fully aware that, although my pc blows even a ps4 away, anything worthwhile will come out on consoles only.

Basically it means the world is randomly generated as you travel through it. Once it's generated once, though, it remains that way forever. So basically it's just a fancy way of saying they didn't bother making maps or clever worlds, that it's all just randomly generated.

It doesn't matter if it's good or not, Square's been recreating all their FF's for a while now and in consecutive order. FF1 and 2 got psp remakes, 3 and 4 got ds remakes as well as smartphone version, 5 and 6 also got remakes, 7 was done to death.
That was downright terrible. The CG was noticeably fake, the green screen was terribly obvious, the acting was downright horrendous, and the choreography was a joke.
I can play 100fps in battlefield 3 but I get around 54fps in AC Black flag. Not the best optimization around but better than their prior games.
