Celebrity deaths usually don't affect me, but I am so saddened by this. I've *loved* PSH for the longest time and he was seriously one of my favorite actors.
Personally, I think with Miley it come across as attention-seeking "LOOK AT ME I'M NOT A LITTLE GIRL ANYMORE!" And with Beyonce, it just feels more genuine. She's paid her dues as an artist and evolved here. Also, Miley used a bunch of black girls as accessories, so there's that.

Why do you care? You're obviously not Team Wendy so what does it matter to you? First of all, I don't feel like she "fudged" her backstory. Secondly, even if you do consider it "fudged" it's not going to make you any more pro or anti Team Wendy than you were before.
