In FY16 - when the USWNT won the World Cup - the Women’s National Team only made $2.5 million more than the Men. And in FY2015, when the men played the World Cup and the women were in a non-Olympic non-WC year, the USMNT made $14.8 million vs $3.1 million for the USWNT.

That is because they did not include the 2016 Copa America Centenario the men are hosting in the budget for some reason. Its a line item.
