I am going to do everything in my power (which is not much) to get this thing referred to as the "Space Bus" by the world at large.

@robotkiller: I know that, but there was an article last December that was almost a "Dear Commenters..." article, but it told the uninitiated the kinds of things that make good comments. These "Dear Commenters.." articles typically revolve around telling people what not to do.

Coming up next:

This is the only site that I regularly comment on. The commenter community is generally worth it.

@tande04: Infineon already makes an SDR baseband controller, the X-GOLD SDR 20. Which just so happens to look exactly like the X-GOLD 618 PMB 9800. According to Infineon's podcast from Q2 of last year, they expected to see devices using their SDR technology rolling out in 12 to 18 months. That timeline fits the

I only know where one of our two discs are at...

I use T-Mobile right now. I also use an iPhone right now...

Why even run this risk? It's ridiculous. It's like a slap in the face. We want to assume that you're working on this BP. We want to assume that you are so busy that you can't be pressed for good photographs.

What about those states that are using the multi-party consent wiretapping/eavesdropping laws as a weapon for arresting those who photograph police officers?

Huh, here I was thinking that I actually needed to see what I was photographing. Looks like it's time to duct tape over my lcd and viewfinder on the D5000. Then maybe I can take artistic photos.

Great list! I've found myself still using Empathy and Evolution after I got them tweaked to my needs, though. (Adding global catalog from Active Directory etc.) I'm on Lucid Lynx, by the way.

@Diode: Sure, it doesn't necessarily have to be ARM, but giving all devices the ability to observe, process, and report data on themselves as well as communicate conditions and alter behavior based on data received from other devices is the future.

@lldsandsFLll: You forget, whoever controls the crude controls the user. It's like drug addiction.

@qban.boi.84: That's true and sad. However, PB released a video a little while ago that looked promising. It just doesn't seem ready for mass consumption yet. They'll get there though.

This is good. I'm seeing a future where pretty much everything has something like an ARM on board. Hell, my pen has an ARM in it and it does ICR, and does it well.

If you're that pissed about AT&T and/or Apple being crappy about their apps/services then Jailbreak and/or Unlock.

Does it have a place to attach your Blackberry? How about an amplifier and loudspeaker, so that when you talk on it, everyone knows how important you are and can hear that you're TALKING ON YOUR BLACKBERRY?

You see: "Please don't use Comic Sans — we are a Fortune 500 Company, not a Lemonade Stand."

@Time Pilot AKA: Dark Side of The Moon melted my brain the first time I listened to it. I listened to it on LP in the school's audio archives with these giant noise-cancelling headphones with an ex-hippie staring at me. I used to go down there and listen to LP's while I wrote papers and/or read textbooks. I went
