If I had children attending that high school, I would be organising protests (and probably throwig bricks) right now. I would be fucking livid.

What kind of crappy people would hire a man that let a rapist go free to coach girls? This is not the type of person that needs to be in an educational setting around young woman. I’m not saying he shouldn’t have a job. I just question organizations that knowingly put people in positions that are questionable…

I severely dislike when a celebrity’s name is tossed in with some foolishness that one of their family members or friends did. I get it, I still dislike it.

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose.  You can’t pick your family...

I’m assuming they charged him with first degree murder, second degree murder, and manslaughter, for each death. Then see what sticks in court. 

I’m pretty sure every U of M student, especially if they grew up in Michigan, made that decision already, whether it represent reality or not. I’ve never encountered a more self-reinforcing mentality in my life. And I’ve mixed it up with actual cult members.

Of any administration to issue an official statement about a fast food sandwich, you don’t think THIS one would?

I see a lot of comments here and elsewhere, talking about the cops use of force was excessive. He should have let her off with a warning of the light and was being a dick. Some people are almost framing this as proof that LE are just dicks to everyone and black people are acting like martys. This shit infuriates me.

That . . . honestly felt like it was a pretty reasonable use of force. He attempted to control the situation, at every point he used the minimum amount of force he could, and he warned before he escalated.

I’ve had live and work with too many people like her.

The way she rolls around for a second like she’s on a rotisserie or something. All she needs is an apple in her mouth and its a luau.

My niece is a cop. You might be surprised at the amount of injury an angry old woman with no fucks left to give can inflict.

She acts this way because she has ALWAYS acted this way. Dollars to donuts her whole life has been a series of “warnings” from police. She is just at the age where a cop would find a wink and a hand job to be unappealing.

I enjoyed the hell out of this because she reminds me so much of many, many smug old ladies I was acquainted with when I was growing up in rural Alabama.  And the first thing I thought was she would have died had she been black. Absolutely.

Getting fined for a broken tail light is a dick move unless she already ignored a warning.

Then go argue your case in court. Being a dick to cops never works, even if you’re white. It’s far less likely to get you killed if you’re white, but you’re basically never going to get a cop to unwrite a ticket.

Telling a cop “I don’t think that I deserve to pay this ticket!” is a dick move, and not very smart. Society has gotten to the point where plenty of people think a cop is a dick for pulling them over doing 75 in a 60mph zone, but why is a cop a dick for doing their job when you know damn well you were breaking the law?
