i used to make a comic a while back ( count your sheep) and i used to get messages from parents who claimed the comic made them feel less alone. I got a letter once from a soldier stationed abroad, and how her mother used to send parcels with cookies and my comic printed out, and it felt like home.

I own a cat who stood in between my wife and I one time we were tickling each other and he assumed I was being attacked. He then sniffed me, probably to check for blood, and licked my arm to comfort me. He runs to my baby's crib when she cries, and gives in his head to be patted when he senses you're feeling down.

But... he's from mexico city like me, and I must always pull for the local guy! do I need to turn in my geek card?
