I was wondering if there are any truther truthers. Yeah, people who are unconvinced by these folks' stupidity and firmly believe they are paid patsies of the guv'ment, or liberal media or the NRA or whatnot into causing a stir, by seemingly being in desbelief of anything. Cuz seriously.

Not only is it the secret at restaurants. Yesterday I cooked a celebratory meal laced with both, and it drew applause.

Totally! That thing is disgusting, imperalistic, decadent and and... I want one. Possibly two.

The Gertrude Stein poetry cheapens the whole endeavor, if you want my opinion. I'd just read the "letters from readers" section from Cosmo. Or Us Weekly.

I have voices in my head too. They gave me meds for them.

To be honest, as a bearded man, I'm quite the admirer of such a well kept beard.

It's a miracle we even learned to walk!

You mean that's not a roll of change for the bus ride home? Egads.

Some interesting things in there, but Heigl playing straight up drama, without the Shonda Rhimes-ness? Not so sure.

So you didn't grow up to be a voracious, narcisstic, one person show, solo artist jerk? Have the magazines lied to me? I'm shocked.

I was left to my own resources and made do by combining all six of them into my childbearers. Luckily the rest of my sibs were quite older than me. Some of them went to my school plays, others to my graduations, others to pick me up, others to take me to movies, and so on.

Great. There was a boy in one of David Sedaris' stories named "Great", and how his parents were just setting him up to fail with that one.

The husband broke his arm walking around the neighborhood, and was unable to hop inside his car. Luckily, a troop of well trained girl scouts smashed the car's window.

Would Ann be as grateful if they had to perform another procedure from the handbook? Such as, say, a tracheotomy?

True. I at least know, in theory, where to find a potential date. But a shoulder?? Where do you even begin to look? Sounds like quality TV to me.

No, they'll just have to share their parents' attention and approval. So yay. (I'm the youngest of five. I know what I'm talking about.)

Not on the Fifty Shades, but on many of the type of books it spawned. Lots, LOTS of kidnapped girls who end up falling in love.

Yes. All of them.

Ah, sorry, I meant a proverbial goat. But you made me feel bad, so...

Yes, thanks for the distinction. I recall my wife telling me the plots of a few of those books, in which a woman gets kidnapped, gets humiliated and ultimately falls in love. Stating it like that seems like a reduction, and the fact of whether there is dubious consent or not lays in the nuances.
