the guy is an op. the rig is being sold. it is a known issue with many brands of stabiliser that the socket block can fail if the arm is straight while under load.

The camera wasn't destroyed. the gear was fine except for the socket block. you might want to change that title.

No, Red Dragon is a much better camera. for youtube videos or vlogs, a Gopro would work great, but when delivering professional content, you really do need a production camera.
