I understand what you are saying, but I disagree.  The announcers can only see symptoms, they shouldn’t be diagnosing.  Now, I agree that they should not use euphemisms.  But “woozy” or “dazed” are perfectly acceptable.  Then maybe mention that they’ll need to check him for a concussion.
