If Biden wins and Dems retake the Senate, she needs to retire the day after Biden’s inaugurated. She should’ve done it back in 2013, but there’s really no excuse for her to still be on the court this time next year (again, provided that November works out favorably.)

She had work to do. Do not fault her for not retiring on anyone's schedule but her own.

One of the many, many reasons Biden needs to be elected, too bad she didn't retire back when it was safe to do so, but now everything hangs by a thread, she deserves to rest properly and recover, she'll probably live to 100, but the stress of this seat must get to her sometimes.

But back in early spring it was a NY problem, not a FL/TX/AZ problem, so no worries. Dr. Fauci was right, states reopened too soon (if they ever really closed down in the first place), and now the WH is trying to blame him. We knew Dump and his cronies would take this country down, but I don’t think anyone imagined in

So I’m sure they will show up, so what is up with the weirdly passionate Depp defenders that show up in every comments section?

Things like this just add to the argument that what we need to do is break the link between employment and health insurance - that is, that your health insurance should not be tied to your place of employment, and that your employer should not get to have a say in how your health insurance dollars are spent.

That generally only applies to members diagnosing a person from what they witness in the media. Mary grew up in the family and has first hand knowledge and experience unlike every other member of those groups. That gives her more leeway.

The only problem is that APA and APS (I think one of them may have loosened up on this) have said, from 2016 on, that their members are outright forbidden from doing any form of analysis on the president. The reasons are fair (issues with consent, privacy, etc.) but she probably is taking a major risk to her

Oh, I have the BEST cheap rich people story. The owner of a very high-end travel agency had the same manicurist as Caroline Hunt, who founded Rosewood Hotels way back in the day. One day, while he was getting his nails done, the manicurist told him that Ms. Hunt had a Christmas present for her, which was pretty

I mean we’ve been saying this from the beginning but...

The context is this: If you are black it doesn’t matter how much education you have you do X,Y,Z. You sound like X, Y, or Z. All black people are the same stereotypical being.

I interpreted that as “if a nonblack actor were to be cast in this role, then the character would have been educated at a university. But since we are going to cast you, a black person, in the role, then we will have to add booty shaking because that’s what black people do. Gotta be believable!”  So was this the role

The context makes it even stupider. She’s been to college, she’s educated, therefore she should... dance provocatively on a bar? Huh?

Yeah, Thandie Newton is one of the classiest actresses I can think of- when I imagine her kitchen it’s just Grey Poupon, tea, and those little cookies they eat at tea time in England. I can’t imagine telling her she didn’t seem “educated”

Of course you don’t remember it, Amy, because, as the Sony leak proved, you say about a million dumbshit things a day. That’s way too many to keep track of or even be aware of the individual dumbshit content levels.

“god just yelled “hubris!” and made me a full dumbass.” <— I lol’d

Found it! I goofed. These are proposed laws.

I’m finding how the media is reporting on this to be weird. The reports clearly state he drove around cars which were blocking the freeway for the protests, and then sped-up as he continued toward the protestors. They are also clear that initial reports is that he did not appear to be impaired. But all of the

Her use of the term “good ole boy club” made it perfectly clear, but here we are.

I’m guessing that if we heard her say it, her tone of voice would have made it clearer.
