I always understood Rookie as being more of a Gen Z publication/creation than a Millennial one, given that Tavi was born after 1994. Personally, I thought that was one of the reasons why it succeeded as a publication—the writers and their readers were always going to be substantially better at anything existing in the

Reading this is reminiscent of how my friends and I talk about our own trauma, and gives me a great deal of sympathy for both Gaga and Kesha, and Katy. It’s so odd to see the same sort of conversations I’ve had before, talking about rape/abuse and ~whatever dumb shit of the day~ at once; I’m sure I’ve had similar

Lemon is good in iced tea, but not in hot tea. Lipton did at one point make a lemon+honey flavored black tea that was fantastic though, especially if you needed to soothe a sore throat.

I was fully on straight tea, only occasionally with sugar, until this year, despite having lived in a ‘tea with milk only’ country for four years before that. Now I am on team ‘straight tea except when you need to consume something that’s the equivalent of a security blanket, in which case black tea with milk, baby!’.

Life’s more fun if you’re a heathen like me and drink tea, espresso, and coffee, occasionally even two at a time. The only tea discourse that matters is how you feel about tea with milk.

It doesn’t make you small minded if you don’t tolerate intolerance in others.

True story: my sister and her friends went as contestants from Legends of the Hidden Temple for Halloween about a decade ago. Two as the purple parrots and two as the silver snakes. I still think it’s the best group costume I’ve ever seen in person.

It’s too bad there wasn’t a fox team. But I’m sure she’ll still make her way down the steps of knowledge.

I can’t tell if he picked “John Smith” as an arbitrary WASP name, or if he specifically meant to reference the historical figure.

I kind of love Real Simple myself.

My out of my go-to magazines, In-Style is the last one left :( Luckily those tend to be huge.

Allure is very hit-or-miss for me.

What the fuck am I going to flip through in airport terminals now? Are there any women’s print magazines left?

Sounds like you had fun! Best of luck on Wednesday!

I think my favorite ever viral tweet thread was from a girl who’d change the contact name from “Mom” to her name on the phone of any guy who creeped her out before asking for her number. The obvious get being that it was a real ‘you played yourself’ move, in that if they sent a harmless text, they’d get a harmless

Every man I’ve ever met named Paul has been an absolute douche-nozzle. One was a white British teen who tried to mansplain both JLaw and N.W.A at various points during university. The other was a middle-aged guy who got fired from our workplace after a single month. So obviously I sympathize.

listen I don’t want to put any pressure on you but if this were a sitcom and/or workplace drama I would watch it. This is the UST-type of thing that I love to see play out. (UST=undefined sexual tension)

wow okay I need the deets on this hot office romance gos.
