Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.

Except that racing games are MUCH closer to reality than any other sport game genre (unless you call poker and chess “sports”; I don’t), to the point that eSports elite racers can compete and thrive in real-world racing.

Are they still looking at a screen, instead of actually sitting in a car?
Are the game physics still an imperfect simulation rather than reality?
Is non-visual sensory information missing, rather than omnipresent?

What the heck is “deciduous sound design” ?? It’s a tree-t for the ears? It falls flat in the fall? You want to leave it alone? It really branches out? It’s got a real phloem? It harkens back to the roots of gaming? It’s knot very good? I’m so confused!

I too would not doubt it being the most likely scenario.

I was expecting it to be a little more open to interpretation. But those sound clips are yikes.

An actual Rainbow Six: Quarantine mode would be pretty solid, though. A bunch of dudes break down my apartment door, grapple in from the window of my second story place, it’s just me without pants, a little drunk from day drinking, in front of a laptop watching Netflix for the 6th hour of the day.

What is it about Japan-produced game franchises that aren’t Nintendo being so damn dense and idiosyncratic? Seriously, I can’t be the only one who loved Western zombie action games like The Last of Us and State of Decay 2 who reads this review and says “Nah that sounds too fucking weird, I’ll pass”.

Not sure if things were different before, but Youtooz recently made a figurine of a client/pal of mine. They reached out to him with an offer, he came up with the general design with a friend, Youtooz made the mold, and I believe he gets a cut of the sales.

Youtoonz, for those who doesn’t know, is a company that finds popular memes made by other people and then turns them into statues without ever giving anything back to the original creators. Just FYI before you spend money on it, it will not go to support the creator you think.
