Same. Not everyone can afford a gaming grade rig, so it makes sense to give the pc experience on a console designed for games, or at least a pc-like experience.

I would have loved keyboard and mouse support on ps3 like they did in Unreal Tournament 3, but It plays fine with a controller. I would be more impressed if done with an atari joystick :P
