Thank you for the insight!

Perhaps the government could provide a bootstrap ration instead of setting a minimum wage…

Normally you wouldn’t want a universally set minimum wage, but instead you would have a strong union culture that sets minimum wages and standards across industries. Sweden, for example, has no minimum wage, but has incredibly high union participation amongst its population. Because the US—specifically the GOP—has

Honestly asking, what has the implementation of these protections done to the job markets in France? What has the impact been to overall happiness of workers? Would you say that these protections have been worth any “cost”?

Fun fact:

I’ve traveled to many socialist countries (Canada, The Netherlands, France, Singapore, and Japan to name a few) and have made friends in many of those places along the way… They all seem much happier in their socialist hellscapes than we are in our capitalist wonderland.

Who do they blame then?

That image is truly grotesque… and I can’t stop staring.

Obviously though, the whole taxation is theft line of the libertarians, while technically in the broadest sense is correct…

Slurping ramen is neither encouraged nor discouraged. Some people say it aerates the noodles/broth. If you go to ramen spots around Tokyo it’s not as if you are confronted with a cacophany of people loudly slurping noodles though.

Honest question, Donald Trump is currently under audit by the IRS. If he is found to have evaded taxes, or just owes a ton of back taxes, can President Trump decide to pardon citizen Trump’s tax debts/prior malfeasances? How does that work?

Oh I’m pretty sure Ivanka already has her father’s love…

Yes. Your pie chart is addressed directly by this politifact article (a sources that is, to my knowledge, relatively unbiased). Your pie chart comes from a meme on Facebook.

Though I agree with your overall point, the majority of our government’s spending goes to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. To your point though, I don’t believe Trump has said nothing about cutting spending on those things either.

… saying that he imagined himself as the Aaron Rodgers to Tom Brady’s Brett Favre…
