Because fuel is still cheaper in the long run than electric and there is that nagging range issue with batteries. I will never forget the Element. It does and always will have a place in my heart.

I bought my Element brand new in 2005. She has almost 146k miles on her so far. I plan on driving my Element for the next 3-4 years and the my daughter will learn how to drive in it. Never had any issues, aside from the airbag recalls.
