Now playing

Well living in Pensacola, I've become used to it. Here is what I have to deal with constantly... even backing out of my driveway is dangerous! A few days after installing my dashcam I was headed to drop off my daughter at school. And this idiot decides do drive on the wrong side of the road. That or he wants to play

I have a dashcam in my Element for about a month now. In that time, I have almost been in two wrecks (almost caused by other morons) If it continues, I'll make a compilation video for you guys.

They are not suicide doors, they are clamshell doors, you are car guys, get it right!

NEVER spray an Element down with a water hose, there is nowhere for the water to drain. It will puddle up, soak into the floor padding and cause mold, shorted out electronics, and eventually rust. The seats are water repellant, but not waterproof and the floor is plastic. A misting with a fabric safe cleaner from a

Time Machine is designed so that the user never has to think about backups unless there is a missing file or a drive crash. It's fully automated so as long as you have enough storage space to back up all of your files plus a little extra, you should never need to think about managing your old backups since it treats

Ii think that you guys don't understand how Time Machine works. In addition to backing up your files, it will keep making revision backups every time you change a file and it will even keep a copy of deleted files. It will do this until it completely fills up a drive. Only then will it remove the oldest revisions and

I vote for this one as well. We have a purchased a few of these here at work (TV Station) and will be adding a half dozen more in the near future. They are totally plug and play, and have amazing sound quality for the price. Great for recording voice, there is even a bidirectional mode that is perfect for two person

Airbags are the perfect device to total a perfectly drivable older car. Especially if it has more than a couple bags deploy. Get in a collision thats just enough to trigger the airbags, and that $3000 repair becomes $7000 and now your car is totaled. YAY for safety.

I honestly wish that I could have the option to have a factory racing style harness installed rather than airbags. racecars dont need no stinkin airbags

I'm 6' and drive a Honda Element. I just measured and the top of my head is 7" from the ceiling. I sit fairly upright with the seat about 2/3 of the way back. If one were to slide the seat all of the way back (which tall folks would have to for added legroom) I would say a 7' tall person could semi-comfortably drive

Thanks! This had been on my Amazon Tech wish list for quite a while now.

there must be something about the screens on these Acers. I was given a perfectly functional Acer laptop that looks very similar to this one. It had a broken display (not cracked-the control board looks to have gone out) I have removed the monitor and tried to use it as a media center, but it drops frames with 720p

mine too

Hmm, I guess that I learned to read differently than most people. I don't move my mouth at all when I read. I have always been a fast reader, but I hate reading out loud cause its slow and I tend to mess up the words when I try to say them even though I can say them correctly in my mind. I am mildly dyslexic though.

I've heard stories from fellow auto writers pressing Toyota about what to do about the FJ Cruiser's gas numbers and they've always dodged the question. Which means they weren't planning to do anything at all. That said, now that we no longer have the FJ Cruiser or the Honda Element, the "fun truck" market is

Im guessing you have a Pontiac G6 GTP maybe? Either that or its a Saab 9-3

for that matter a trashbag will hold out the rain just as good at the $50 raincoat, but how seriously do you think people would take you if you walked up in a trashbag? Most would think that you are homeless.

False.. I bought my car new for $20,000. It was cheaper to buy than buying the same model used due to the lower interest rate for the loan. (1.99% vs 5.99%) I have had the same car for 9 years now and only have 115k miles on it. Right now I'm under $2,300/year total cost. I could sell it right now for $7000 if I had

This has to be the WORST “financial advice” article that I have ever read (aside from those that tell you to sell everything and invest in gold). This writer must A)Be an anti-car nutjob. B)Live in a big city where owning a car really isn’t a necessity C) Be a Troll or D) All of the above
