The Pats had trouble moving the ball all day. I think it’s reasonable to think they might have felt they couldn’t put together another long drive if they just kicked the FG there. Going for it on 4th down struck me as the correct decision, Denver had been winning the field position battle all day.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that most teams don’t have the sort of pass rush Denver does or New York did when they won those Super Bowls?
