His lawyer worries about a circus atmosphere in the court room when we all know this motherfucker would be riding to court on the back of a MAGA-adorned elephant if the Secret Service let him.

First, the media will never learn and fall for his attention seeking circus sideshow every single fucking time.

We sent Martha Stewart to prison for some small-time insider trading. We can surely put this MF away for a while for his many much worse crimes.

They have no reason to learn anything from the past. If anything, they’ve learned to double down for the ratings and advertising money boost they get. If we want to scold people, we should turn our scorn to those who seem incapable of not tuning in.

i hope he does his perp walk - & there are none of his people to cheer him on.  apparently, there were calls for a protest/celebration for him today when he arrived in manhattan & only a few magas showed up.  fingers crossed it’s the same thing tomorrow.

I’ve noticed this too. He’s front and center on the list of “Self-employed, Terminally-on-Twitter-Always-Talking Journalists.” These sites LOVE posting his tweets... maybe he’s dating the editor?

I have an unrelated question, but when did Aaron Rupar become the voice of the nation? Every political story I read seems to include his tweets about current events but I can’t seem to find anything about him other than that he’s a self-employed journalist?

And Maggie Haberman will be front and center getting her access journalism. Then when we all realize it was a bad idea, she'll write another book about how everyone else but her was wrong

And the frustrating part is that the media will give it to him. The best thing to happen is if they simply reported he was arraigned and that was all. But no they’ll be easily baited into giving him the circus he wants to which there will be much handwringing over later as to why that was a bad idea in the first

Yep, just as I expected. He wants to create all the drama, and attention he can get. Like an emotional vampire, he needs that constant fix. *eyeroll*

“They” already do this to us all the time. Every person in this country can, and does, go to jail for far less than this sack of shit will ever do.

Actually, “they” can only do this to you if you commit crimes.

“This is the kind of language that can get people…killed.”

The important thing here is that CBS has shown the right that they don’t have a liberal bias, and they’ll be able to enjoy that respect going forward.

Why does it even begin to matter how one example is covered on an unpopular format in a dying medium, especially when the major criticism is that the interviewer was insufficiently outraged?

Seriously though, these lunatics have 24/7/365 platforms on social media, algorithmically targeted at the people most likely to be receptive to their messages. Why does it even begin to matter how one example is covered on an unpopular format in a dying medium, especially when the major criticism is that the

I’m honestly surprised that anyone actually sits down for Jon Stewart. I mean I’m glad they do, but man, he comes prepared and makes them look like the fools they are. I’m sure MTG would never go within 100 yards of him.

Arguably a well done fact checked interview could have shown people who were unfamiliar with her that she is full of shit. People who like what she says likely won't give a damn. But those aren't the only people who may vote for her.

The only one that should have “interviewed” her would be Jon Stewart. He will call them out on their bullshit.

Her statement blaming herself feels like textbook “battered woman syndrome”. It looks like the reaction of someone who was being coached or “persuaded” to offer a differing narrative.
