Really late on to see this post. I don’t frequent this site as I once used to (and I feel horrible about it, honestly), and yet this post makes me feel like shit. You were hands down my favorite writer on here. I didn’t comment here super often, but I remember you featuring a couple of ideas on tips and tricks, and

Clark got to sleep with Ben! Woohoo!

Oh shucks! I feel like laughing and crying at the same time!

Agree.

Ah, that does make a lot of sense. Also, I think my outburst (rant?) was a little too premature and defensive in favour of MS's, as you said, bold new changes.

[...]the computer is taking just what it wants and the 'spare' volts produce by the power supply have nowhere to go?

You probably weren't.

Looking at the fun side of things, if you *want* to accomplish this from within Windows run box (only for the fun of it, here's how to do it: http://lifehacker.com/tips/forum?post=54716064

The others are also the ones that are more radical. They're not the same as some older ones, but that doesn't mean they're bad or incapable or something. The Start Menu is still very much there, it's just that it isn't a tiny box that appears whenever you hit the windows key or press the orb at the bottom left corner.

I'm sorry if that appeared offensive in any manner, that was never the intention. Your first comment on this article clearly mentioned that you haven't tried most of the jacks here, save for the start menu for your own comfort. My comment, however, was more addressed to people who actually want newer OSes without

I don't really think the title is completely justified. Agreed, a few tweaks (like deleting without the confirmation box) might be a little annoying, especially for those who're prone to hitting Delete instead of Home, on their keyboards, but some others, mentioned in this article are *core* features, and I'm sure

I've got a really old HP Pavilion T610i desktop, that doesn't really do much but sit in its place all day, and occasionally download stuff at home, so I call it Garfield. My [black] Dell StudioXPS, on the other hand, is my to go computer, so I call it TheDarkKnight. And my old school Sony Ericsson W580i, which is a

It pleases me that my notions about the security of passwords are at par with industry experts, while I'm pretty much just the average bloke.

Usually, with a heated laptop on your lap, the hot laptop is lesser of a concern than your balls getting fried. That is, of course, if you're a bloke. If otherwise, well you're great to go!

Also, Gmail has these "Smart Filters", Notifications, Forums and Bulk. They have a very complicated set of rules, already predefined, so you can't really (or well if you can, not easily) make these rules in Outlook.com. And these Smart Filters go a long way in making your Gmail inbox neat and clutter free. That's

Me, for one. Bear in mind, this means that you'd have to create all the filters that you had in Gmail, will have to made again as folders in Outlook.com. And if at all, like me, you have a ton of filters, well, God help you.

A great deal about this in the comments below, but I'll chime in my two cents anyway.

It's no surprise that shirts made in Asia are top-notch. Asia is home to some of the best cotton grown in the world, which would also answer why they are inexpensive. And countries such as India and China house some of the best tailors in the world, some, who've in the profession for several generations.
