King Hippo had lined up with the LoL cosplayers before they took the stage and may have made it into the group shots, but I’m not sure. I’m on a train coming back from PAX East and haven’t been able to spot him in the photos. Hey, he’s King Hippo. He can show up wherever he wants!

Oh man Predestination was frigging AWESOME. Not what I expect. At. All.

Hated looper...so ...many...paradoxes...

Ooh it's like Sliding Doors. Imagine the alternate timeline if you HAD watched the whole movie. It might have triggered a thought that would ultimately lead you to becoming the next Hitler, or a cure for cancer.

Looper didn't have any internal temporal consistency. Things happened because the writer decided they should happen, regardless of whether they made any sense. Predestination's flaw was that it was predictable as hell, but it was internally consistent and the performances were top shelf.

I had really enjoyed both of Rian Johnson's other movies prior to Looper, and the cast and premise really had me expecting greatness. But I got about halfway through Looper before I stopped. Can't put my finger on exactly what I didn't like about it, but I don't typically give up on movies halfway through.

Honestly one of the best films of 2014. It's a total mindfuck and a better time travel premise than that overrated Looper.

The clearly more important question is, who is the girl in the cover photo for the article!?! She looks just enough like Leia that it goes beyond cosplay.

I hate when posters spoil the movie like this. Now I already know she will be de-feeted.

Devon Aoki will join season 3 of Arrow as the sword-wielding superheroine Katana. Deadline says the Sin City star "will be one of Oliver's mentors in the [Hong Kong] flashbacks and a critical influence on his journey to eventually become The Arrow of present day."
