Part of the backlash is her choosing to share this story the way she has, with such confidence thinking she comes out like a badass standing up for herself. 

So the Root published a lot more of the section in question, and after the “why did she say “yo, we went it at one day” question, I hit this:

Ha. Yeah, I don’t see it as anything horrifying. However, the way Pompeo is telling and framing this story is eyerolling.

I’m curious about this - I’ve never heard this before, and he’s notorious for not filming sex scenes or heavy make out scenes out of respect for his wife and family. Or so he says. Of course, that could all be an act. I don’t pretend to have my finger on the pulse of Hollywood rumors/goss, but I have not heard…

I call bullshit on that part. Ms Pompeo may be taking artistic liberties with her version of the story. 

I can’t imagine who in Hollywood has the gravitas to “listen motherfucker” Denzel. Wow.
