My husband bought me a very sculptural asymmetrical dress by a local artist/designer. It looks amazing on the hangar or on a mannequin. I am 5'2". The designer and I just stared at each other as he bought it, because we both knew it would look like s**t on me.

Right? There are some curvy fit high rise, but the proportions are always a bit off, and being encased in that much denim makes me feel mildly claustrophobic. The lower rise means the larger waist size is more likely to fit.

I’m long-waisted, so I like a slightly low-rise jean. High-waisted jeans don’t come up to my natural waistline, so it creates a VERY strange look in addition to being wildly uncomfortable.

My mom dated him for a bit when they were in HS. She told me he was really sweet, but not really smart.

I'm so sorry for your losses. That's a lot of body blows to handle at once. I hope you have loving people around you to support you through this. Our thoughts are with you. 

I've found it very beneficial in alleviating chronic pain. I currently have a shoulder issue that will require a couple of months of PT. Since I can't really tolerate NSAIDs for long, my orthopedist has offered to write me a script for acupuncture while I'm doing the PT. I have a pretty high pain threshold, but if…
