Thank you! My brother had a hand me down crib with lambs painted on it. The girl lamb was blue, and the boy lamb was pink. Personally, I’ve avoided both colors when buying stuff for pregnant friends. It’s not too hard to do for infants, but once they hit around age 3 the color palette drops precipitously for boys…

Jacks is the best!

It took me seven years to get an accurate diagnosis of my autoimmune disorder. More, if you take into account that the onset was likely during my teens. I remember seeking help as early as 20 and being told it was stress. I was in my mid 30s when doctor the nth was all “Hey! This isn't normal!" And he was right.

I really wanted my boys to see a movie about Dr. Shirley. So we're passing on this. 

When I saw the first trailers, I thought it would be MA schooling VM, then I realized it was just another white savior flick. Ugh. I wanted to take my kids to see it because of Shirley, but decided they'd be better off watching Black Panther again.

My mom went from an A cup to a D because of me. She had no complaints. And, yeah, bodies are a thing, so I grew up seeing all the stretch marks and stuff.

I am simultaneously looking forward to and freaked out by the thought of menopause. Probably because I’m separated from my husband of 20+ years, and would like to have a real sex life; but I’m now a single mom, an old, and not conventionally attractive in a city that's not particularly kind to any one of those factors.

I had no idea she was so young. I do remember my first reaction was "she cut off his dick!?!?!?" My second, and lasting reaction was "what did he do?" His subsequent behavior only reinforced my inclination toward Team Lorena.
