I didn’t think she was that old, but I did assume she was about a decade older than she actually is. Looking closely at her picture, I believe 33. I think it’s the way she does her hair and makeup. Reminiscent of an older woman who is trying too hard to look younger, but it’s having the opposite effect on her.
I mean . . . it’s possible she’s lying about her age in addition to everything else.
I think it’s the fact that she’s cosplaying a blond Sarah Palin.
33? I thought she was pushing 50. Maybe it’s the hair and glasses? Or maybe it’s just the crazy.
I don’t understand how Texas can sue over how other states conduct their elections. Is the answer, “They can’t, but this is just a publicity stunt anyhow”?
For anyone even remotely worried about this, it has literally 0% chance of success (I doubt even anyone on the Trump squad in SCOTUS would give it a hearing) and is 100% about the Texas AG trying to fix his flagging popularity.
He’s a shady embarrassment, even for Texas. So most likely.
General Paxton has been under indictment for felony securities fraud since 2015, and is currently under investigation by the FBI after eight of his deputies accused him of using his position to do favors for a political donor.

You and I, we’re reasonably smart and decent fellows.
Oh, Lou Dobbs and Stephen Miller are turning on each other?
TL:DR version: prostitutes arguing over who gets to swallow.
It didn’t sound like she emailed her subordinates to stop doing their jobs, but had an internal conversation on an emailing list with her technical research co-workers and spoke about her frustrations. That’s what I understand from the WaPo article linked:
Yup that was my take. She may be 100% correct in her position, but if you send an email telling a bunch of people that what they are doing is pointless then you are clearly going to be terminated.
“certain aspects of the email you sent last night to non-management employees in the brain group reflect behavior that is inconsistent with the expectations of a Google manager,
My boyfriend keeps making fun of how I abhor the American media shoving the royals down our throats but eat up every season of The Crown. 1) It turns out that rich, useless limeys* make for good drama in the right hands; 2) I had no idea until now that some of them are actually interesting. Not admirable, mind you,…
Assuming the show is accurate, I had sympathy for Charles, until he really seemed to relish in tearing Diana down. He was stuck in a terrible situation and then dragged her into it - and then proceeded to be vindictive in punishing her for a predicament she had no hand in precipitating and the least amount of power to…
This is why we can’t trust corporations to do the right thing without regulations... They’ll do enough at a surface level to look good in the public eye, but the moment an insider tries to dig deeper and address systemic issues, they’ll go into denial and get rid of the messenger.
