This is something I don’t understand. Why spend gobs of money to travel somewhere new for fun, only to do the same things there that you do at home.

When she was 3, my oldest would tell everyone she passed in the store that they were her best friend, or sometimes she would ask them if they would be her best friend. No amount of “stranger danger” would have gotten through to her.

I like the way this show dealt with mental illness in a compassionate way without sugar-coating it. It doesn’t villainize Rebecca Bunch, but it doesn’t make excuses for her either.

Um, Kathy Griffin is right, what happened to her should never happen to an American citizen. I don’t think she owes anyone an apology. If anything, I think she’s the one who’s owed an apology.

That guy is a walking, talking gun nut stereotype. I am still wondering if he’s a self-parody.

If I’m being honest, she probably really is a Trump supporter, but if she’s anything like my parents were, she’s progressive on most issues, except on one particular issue, and that one issue makes her vote conservative. I suspect her one issue, like my parents, is immigration.

I’m from the south, and while I don’t mind friendly service, I also don’t require insincere ass-kissing. Just be basic professional polite, and I’m good.

You know, as kids, we’re told not to talk to strangers, but when we grow up, we’re expected to talk to every stranger we see.

I’m not saying women should stay at home. I’m pointing out that the people who want half the population to be domestic slaves don’t support policies that allow that to even be a possibility. Just pointing out their hypocrisy.

And yet that society won’t support a living wage that makes a single income family possible.
