Right? Beth Ann isn't the Klan leader they want her to be! She has some self-awareness! I wonder if they'll actually go into how this is like a white (and terrible) version of code switching…

Yeah, I love the show but I'm not sure this was actually an A episode.
Hot Rachel is going to make things a lot more interesting. I thought Madison was going to be Rachel's Eve Harrington this season - and she still might! - but Hot Rachel will probably be the one pushing her to it, if not completely pulling the strings.
Rich Girl problems are THE WORST!
I love that Chet's "new direction" for Everlasting was done to death by VH1 like a decade ago.
I am here for this. ALL OF IT. Environmental disaster, possible mpreg, creepy floating entities. EVERYTHING.
Gurl, NEVER read YouTube comments. Just don't.
1 - mostly true, though last year it was still unusually warm in October. Like tank top warm.
2 - true
3 - At least in Atlanta, I wonder if it's so the gays don't get to monopolize the only large park in the city for several days during the summer. You know, so "everyone" gets to enjoy it…
I loved the Star Wars and Manson series MGM and the Blacklist have been a little hit or miss, perhaps because I don't really have enough background knowledge or familiarity with some of the films for it all to really gel. And the episode re-releases during the Blacklist season have been KILLING me because I want new…
Cronenberg would've made an excellent version as well…I'd still like to see him try but I guess Cosmopolis is close enough.
That's like all the guys who completely missed the point of Fight Club. Sad face.
The multi-part Manson series of the You Must Remember This podcast would probably be good companion listening for this book. It's really, really great.
Given the It Girl blowback before Girls even ended, I think the cult has already come and gone.
They do test for HIV but it can take up to 6 months for antibodies to be detected using the standard test. It's supposed to be that gay/bi men are such a high risk group that it's just safer for them to exclude them entirely (or close to entirely, as they eased the restriction to include gay/bi men who have been…
"nobody should have to fear physical violence as a consequence of free speech."
I try to at least go to the local parade but I've always been vaguely anxious about something happening. I live in the South (in a large city, but still the South), so it's not like my fears have been all that "irrational." Our Pride doesn't happen until October for some reason, so I have no idea how I'll feel then…
Well, technically they've eased the restriction some since the 80's by allowing gay men WHO HAVE BEEN CELIBATE FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR to donate. So it's pretty much just a symbolic attempt to not discriminate.
Yep
I'm not as worried as the review about the pacing but it definitely seems like the writing is better suited for a Netflix-style full season drop.
Considering her limited screen time and rather thankless role, Lucy Griffiths has made Emily surprisingly compelling. It really underscores just how terrible the writing and/or direction must have been for her on True Blood.
