AMC doesn't require high ratings for a show to stay on the air. Even though Mad Men was super zeitgeist-y, the ratings were never high.

Even the first episode made it clear that Negga was woefully misused on SHIELD. She was occasionally compelling as an enigma on SHIELD but she can be electric when given more personality to work with. If nothing else, Preacher will give her fantastic demo reel material.

or Snowball

She is good with kids but maybe it would be better if Jesse Towing came back to help raise them for a little balance?

That was mostly a joke about how frequently hair is used to convey something about a female character. Ex: the trope of women changing their hairstyle after a traumatic event

Unless they wanted to do a spiritual sequel to Hanna as a tv series….

YES! I only remember him commenting on her appearance at all because I was thinking the exact same thing seconds before he said it.

"Confused but supportive" is pretty much Donnie in a nutshell.

Yeah, I think she was unavailable for most of the season so they may have been holding off until they knew whether she could come back at all. I'm curious about what (who?) they had as a backup plan. Maybe that will be easier to speculate after next week.

Knowing Helena, she would probably keep it as a pet and ride it places.

I sort of interpreted Delphine's less spectacular hair as a sign that she's being held in captivity.

I still love the scene early last season when Felix tags along for a meeting with Delphine and - even though Cosima and Dephine are on the outs - he can't resist pointing out, "Damn, Delphine looks good" (or something to that effect).

I love Donnie's exaggerated perspective of his weekend in county lockup. Granted, he could've been killed but that threat to his life probably would've happened regardless.

Thea would also make a great straight man for Helena. And Helena would help Thea realize that her problems aren't quite so bad.

I think that tension needs to be there to make antiheroes compelling. They're awful but deliciously awful and far more competent than Chet. It will be fun watching him throw obstacles their way and maybe take them down a peg but the viewers still want the best worst people to win.

I am 1000% in favor of a Helena/Thea buddy action comedy.

Evie was never going to be more than middle management.

I think you mean Felix prevented Helena from STABBING Adele. He even took the knife from her.

Eh, I think she just wanted a chance to break out of her usual character mold and ran with it. And that Oscar nom opens up a lot of more prestigious roles for her.

It's still trashy and soapy but that's the point. Give it a try.
