Prayer circle for Connie's freedom? She deserves so much better

1) gay urges and incestuous urges are two very different, unrelated things
2) maybe the butt supply at your school was abysmal

Did they ever explicitly state that Sarah was a sex worker? Sex was part of her cons (with Paul, at least) but it didn't seem like transactional sex was part of her life. Yet we totally saw Felix getting paid for sex.

Yep, that's what came to mind. The show does sort of stick to the gay stereotypes with Cosima and Delphine becoming super serious right away and Felix starting the series as a sex worker/drug dealer.

Any chance of Veronica Deane being an MK Ultra test subject/agent? It could explain why she doesn't seem to remember Archer in this episode. And it would tie together the CIA involvement this season, the MK Ultra history lesson, and the Rona Thorne posters.

I can't remember if Ira called Susan mother earlier in the season but I totally gasped/cringed when he did in this episode.

Alison totally banged Aynsley's husband Chad in a van. Weed was also involved. Alison still does it in the most soccer mom way possible but she and Sarah aren't THAT different.

*Insert offensive, stereotypical joke about the speed with which lesbian relationships become serious*

She's become defined entirely by her gayness and illness, instead of being the boss hippy scientist who happened to be gay that she was originally. :(

There was a lot "off" about the whole Peaches cameo but I'll take any Peaches cameo I can get.

I do like the idea that Felix might understand Cosima in a way the others do not. It would be interesting to see them explore that some. Also, just more Felix/Cosima scenes in general.

I think it was left vague mostly due to Evelyn's schedule. She wasn't available for most of the production schedule for the season so I think they were holding out in case she couldn't return at all.

Brandon Routh needs more comedic roles.

There are definitely times that Lady Dynamite cuts too close for comfort…but in a good way?

Shotgun! Pam: always and forever my spirit animal.

And while the new death star wasn't super original, Kylo was Vader fanboy. It actually makes sense that he wouldn't come up with something new; he just wanted to become his hero.

It's definitely a cliche but it's usually not a character who gets developed in any meaningful way, especially in such a mainstream show. There was potential, at least.

I think #3 was the biggest issue. Being the sole writer for a series is pretty difficult given the production cycles of US television. He should've used the second season as an opportunity to cultivate a writing team and, if he had a compelling enough idea, maybe start solo writing a future season.

McAdams deserved a better written character

I've never really thought it was any more than a soap opera in high brow drag, which is why I've loved it. Same for Downton Abbey.
