I’ve found that even concealed carriers feel the desperate need to show you that they’re actually carrying a gun.  It’s pathetic.

The article says that it had nothing to do with the parental leave.  He took the parental leave he was allowed.  They obviously fired him for some other reason, because no company’s going to fire you for taking leave AFTER you already took it, just so they can be down one person even longer. 

Nothing says that’s why they fired him, though. They could have been planning to fire him BEFORE his leave for any number of reasons, but decided to be kind about it and not throw that kind of trauma into his life right before he had a child.

If you read the actual doc, it seems really... just unrealistic.  I mean, he says that his boss threatened him with a knife twice, but that HR didn’t take it seriously.  So, uh, you go to the police?  You don’t wait years and then file a lawsuit.  It’s just really, really weird.  Makes me think he had some bad blood…

What’s worse is that a lot of food delivery sites use stock photos.  So you can look for Mexican food, say, for delivery, and the photos on the site look AMAZING... but you scroll to the next one, and they coincidentally have the exact same photos.  It’s impossible to trust anything nowadays.
