I have never understood this, and made my sisters angry at several family parties by not being interested in having cake after their spat/blew out the candles (depending on the kid’s age, since young ones spit when they don’t know how to blow). It’s the grossest.

I’ve never met a nice cat.. I think that’s because I know awful people, so their cats have been pretty awful, too. (I have never thought it was the cat’s fault. What worries me more is the horrible photoshopping on the one in her bathing suit. If social media was all your life was about, wouldn’t you have someone on call 24/7 to do decent photoshopping for you? Geez. Looks like it was done during a turbulent storm at sea.

Hachi makes me cry like a baby, and The Good Dinosaur. No dogs in it, except for a human who kinda is a dog? It’s a cartoon, Pixar, but wasn’t promoted well, so a lot of people haven’t seen it. And it’s SAD in parts, so it didn’t play well with kids. BUT OMG, ARLO. (Give it a shot, you’ll know what I mean.)

I can’t believe it when I find out people haven’t seen it, either, especially dog lovers! I do my best to share the Hachiko story whenever I can, and suggest people see the movie.

SOOO AMAZING! I really want to go to Tokyo someday to see the statue of Hachiko. Learning about Akita behavior through that movie was awesome, since I’d recently adopted a half black Lab/half Akita at the time. And trust me, the stuff they said about how Akitas are one-person dogs, and won’t play unless they want to?…
