I wish it was, it probably doesn’t have to be walnut specifically but, that seems to be what everyone is using.   Basically because there is no port injection on the engine to clean out the intake/heads,  the valves and intake ports get enough build up on them to throw a code.

But it doesn’t come with mirrors.

Page 2, “We’d like to retain you as a customer.  Please find enclosed a special offer for $500 off a Focus R...,er, a Fiesta S...,er Taurus SH...Um, can we interest you in the Edge ST?”

If I haven’t received my rejection letter yet, does that mean I’m getting one?!

The main benefit is durability. the other benefit is suspension geometry. if you are going over a large rock or uneven terrain one wheel can lift much higher without picking up the bottom wheel off the ground.

More up and down wheel travel, so better for crawling over rocks and other obstacles. Easier to fix, maintain and lift too.

Superior articulation off road. Helps you keep all 4 wheels on the ground when navigating through uneven terrain.

Simplicity and durability. I like that lifting it is cheaper and I like that I can go off road with more control and less breakage.

Better for rock crawling / driving over big stuff basically. Solid axle tends to be stronger, simpler to lift (to fit big tires), and gives you better articulation to keep the tires planted (again, in general).

A: Usually solid axles are stronger than independent suspension. Most of this relates to the axle shafts and how a solid axle will place the u-joints or CV-joints at a lower answer; the technical answer is longer than I want to get into here.

Constant ground clearance under the axle when it’s articulating.  Better traction when articulating because as one side is shoved up, the other side is shoved down.

I think the whole point of this racing series is racing off road trucks in environments they aren’t suited to.

More terrifying than Tracy’s postal Jeep?  I’m still not convinced it’s a vehicle.

Well, the 22B was designed to look like the WRC98, so it’s an easy mistake to make! The 22B’s wheels also have more of a star-like pattern where the spokes angle inwards, where as the WRC98's are just radial.

Sneaky way to increase Renault reliability.

Is the Power Unit chart in the article accurate? I think Red Bull and Renault have their powerplants reversed.

It all depends on your frame of reference. Every car on Earth is racking up 1.6 million miles every day as if you use the sun as reference. If you measure based on the galactic central point, it’s more like 12 million miles a day.

Yeah, $1500 for tires sounds sketchy AF.

I know T. Jon ( we worked at the same company for a short time) so I’m not going to argue with him, especially since his explanation is accurate. But there is another reason.
