Name one “top” player whose career the Pens ended?

He was talking about the water bottle throw.
Those of us who play/played hockey would agree: when you go down and lose your stick, holding a guys leg and not letting him go is the most pathetic thing you can do and you do HAVE IT COMING. I get it, Mike Millbury is a moron and seems to have it out for Subban for reasons that are questionable if not racial. But…
I like Subban and Millbury is an idiot who has it out for him but that was nothing and Subban was blatantly cheating. He had a bear hug around his leg...so yeah you get socked in the face until you let go. This is hockey. Nice try Emma.
Confirmation of what I already knew: Pete Carroll is the worst kind of person - a scheming asshole trying to convince us of his benevolence. Between he and Russell Wilson, walking into Seattle’s locker room probably feels like entering a fart cloud of contrived personality and faux-empathy.
Hard to say in the context but I wonder if that was meant to read as “no other public school in the pac-12" which would likely be true. Stanford has a stronger record in athletics and academics and its private, so that statement rings true. If that is meant to mean ALL public universities in the country that is…
one or two sustained stretches where they had the ball and looked consistently threatening with it. One such stretch culminated in Cristiano Ronaldo’s match-opening goal.
or admitting that they don’t even want to.

Closest thing would be a hooking call but no. What the ref would do if this stuff went on consistently is warn the guy to knock it off and call him on something else that is borderline. Of which there is always a plethora. More leeway given in elimination games, especially 3rd period.
He was going through the stages of grief but got stuck on bargaining. He thought if he said they outplayed them enough it would change the outcome.
Nice article T.M.. I read Field of Schemes a few years back and have been wary of just about every stadium project since. Some stadium projects are sold as being benevolent economic projects serving blighted areas (London and Rio Olympics) with rosy projections of long-term benefit that have a near zero chance of…
These Ducks were shorthanded, as just about every team is this time of year, but they had it the worst
Chances are that he doesn’t start next season as a manager but he does end up managing a team sometime. My guess right now is Watford.
Why does this post exist still if the correction negates the whole point? He didn’t even point DIRECTLY at anything but his own calf.
I am pretty impressed with his calligraphy to be honest, I couldn’t do that with anything but the letters in my name these days.
Congrats, Harry. Too bad all of those goals still couldn’t win you the league.
I hate the neutral zone trap so much. It is basically anti-hockey. And yes its boring and frustrating to watch but the Pens should shoulder a big heap of blame for not being able to break it down. They are built to cycle the puck and create chances in tight spaces. You want to force them to dump it in? GREAT! That…
I don’t think it is fair to call it novelty. Preds have been a competitive team in the playoffs in the past decade and even back in 2010 I remember being impressed with how raucous the crowd was. I’d point out that Chicago was like this in 08-09 when they first broke out and the following year when they won the cup.…
Fighting a 4th liner who just got put into the lineup for this game and taking yourself out for 5 minutes is not the best way to light a fire under your team.
