I wasn’t expecting it, but lots of my non-gaming friends really enjoyed Towerfall. The controls are simple and although less skilled players will consistently get trounced by better ones in versus mode, there’s a co-op campaign mode to get them used to the game first.

I only own like four games for Wii U: Nintendo Land, Rayman Legends (IT’S SO GOOD), BotW, and Sm4sh. I still use it near-daily for Smash, and will continue to until a NEW (not a port) smash game comes out.
