I will admit that I am biased by my love of all things Rotary, but the FD RX-7 is one of those ‘timeless’ classics to me. It’s right up there with the Ferrari Daytona, the 911, Toyota 2000 GT, Mercedes 300SL, or the original Ford GT as far as iconic designs go. At least that’s my opinion.

Yes, it’s getting tough to find unmolested RX-7's around. But they’re out there. :-)

IMO there is only one thing that would make that car better.

Man the FD RX-7 is such a good looking car.

Why the hell does it matter? This is literally the last production car on Earth for which you should be asking about fuel mileage.

Can’t believe they picked silver. Plain, boring-ass Camry “silver”. The only reason I can think of for this is to be discreet and not draw a lot of attention, which isn’t really FCA’s bag.

The 812 Herpes Sore. YES PLEASE!

They could have called it the 812 Crap Sandwich, and I’d still want one.

I can’t imagine how someone would be able to downshift to the correct gear using a typical road car transmission without H&T while still in the braking zone. The rally guy in the above video even has touble making the shift quickly enough and he isn’t pushing hard at all.

The key here is in shift lever pressure. Too much pressure means you are grindingthe brass synchros together until they reach the same speed. That’s what they were made to do, as they still have to match speed when you use the clutch. However, with the clutch depressed, they only have to match the rotation of the

Used to do this in my Z28 for fun.. and to freak out my passengers. Then one day my clutch went and I had to limp my way through town to drop my car off at a friends, would have had to call for a tow truck if I didn’t know how to do this. Also had to start the car in 1st gear which is just about the oddest feeling

Here is a picture of a car:

Every time I read a troll comment like you, I’m reminded of a bit of Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash.
