It also shares its engine block with the Ford F-150 EcoBoost. This fact alone will cause many people—exotic car purists—to dismiss the GT as not being a real member of the exotic car world.

Funny, I live in K-Town and it’s well known that the Politzei target Americans.

I like the idea of using the tow hook mount, instead of drilling holes in the bumper. I just wish the post didn’t stick out so far.

IM sorry but this comment is dumb AF.

Better the offset tow hook mount than drilling into the bumper.

sure beats drilling holes, I have a similar mount on my Golf R

Front license plates are a crime.

I live in California. My rule is, better to just go without the front plate and roll the dice that you won’t get pulled over.

The alternative mount is worse!

I wonder if the crash data shows that the regulations have actually had a measurable effect on pedestrian injuries/deaths. Or is this just an overreaction to a perceived problem?

That’s really foolish and uncalled for. All these extra driver interruptions must 1.) be on by default, 2.) be easily deactivated, and 3.) be deactivated separately.

Too bad they ruined the gearbox. Automatic rev-matching switched on by default (unless you turn off traction control) — at least half of the fun of driving stick is in matching the revs yourself on downshift. Why not make it optional?

Nothing gets women going like having to put on 5-point harnesses when going out on a date.

While easy to install the seats...you all have done a great job show casing how not to do harnesses on a car. 5/6 point harnesses in street car are dangerous w/o a roll bar and proper harness guide bar. A roll bar is dangerous without a helmet. Before you do “cool” mods please do the research to the safety

agree mostly, then I got a Miata

I can paint my dishwasher red and put a nice set of wheels on it, but at the end of the day, its still a dishwasher.

Is this a transaction, Toyota? Because if so, we’ll trade you some non-boring words for a new Supra and a turbo 86. Oh, and bring back the MR2. Let us know.

“Camry Dents never go away; they just become more expensive until the car itself is just one giant dent, forsaken and uninsurable.”
