Huh, so that’s what those garish boxes on the front page are. I thought Twitch had just changed up the “recommended streamers” panels (and I guess, in a way, that’s kind of true), but this is some sort of pay-for-views scheme.

At least it wasn’t “Buttz!”

Oooooh, baby, give me that sweet, sweet... Ape Escape remake!

Full disclosure: I play Genshin Impact and I don’t care what the rewards are, because the event is locked behind a QR code and I refuse to scan that with my phone.

I wouldn’t say it was creepy, but I would say it looks absolutely nothing like her in the slightest. In that regard, it’s disappointing (but not exactly unexpected, considering this brand’s particular “look”). Just seems like more of a doll cosplaying as Y’shtola rather than actually representative of the character.

The easiest I can explain it is this: when playing FFXIV, the average queue time for most servers is 10 to 30 players. I’m on the busiest server for the US (Balmung), so it’s incredibly common to see a 30 person queue when I log in. Really, that’s not much of anything maybe a few minutes of waiting.

Truly. Who could have foreseen this happening?

Sadly, she kept the gaming dog, so you don’t even have that comfort in the late gaming night.

No, they look bad. And the world looks so incredibly empty. This looks more like a concept video of a game in the early stages of production rather than a video about a game coming out in a few months.

As every legitimate gamer knows, fashion is the true endgame. Critical hit rate? Never heard of it. It’s all about the best dressed, baby, and Kokomi has style in spades.

It’s probably just a lame cover story to give the real story some thin veil of legitimacy. The actual truth is: I’m an asshole that gets pleasure from hurting people.

“and effeminacy”

I watched the trailer before I read the article and I’m pleased to learn we’ll get to unlock different outfits. The ones she’s wearing in the trailer look like they’d be so uncomfortable. Poor girl must get so many wedgies.

Oh hell, of all the games shown, Tchia is somehow the one I’m most looking forward to. That game looks downright whimsical with its exploration and I’m already 100% here for playing as a be-flowered sea turtle.

Same. Gackt is such a staple to Japanese pop culture, it’s hard to imagine him not out there singing and doing performances, let alone some of the grimmer possibilities. I sincerely hope he fully recovers.

Oh god, yes. My brother kept buying the special editions of the DS Lite and months later one of the hinges would crack. If you breathed too hard on those damn things they’d crumble.

Probably the implication is that, in the future, everything will have a corporate sponsor. Like how stadiums are “Minute Maid Stadium” and what have you.

Interestingly, the article only mentions that he received the first dose in January. But Pfizer’s vaccines requires two doses to actually be effective. I almost wonder if the first dose was just for the purpose of the conference (“See, I’m getting vaccinated, you should too!”), but he never followed up on the second

So this is what an open-world Pokemon game could have looked like. I’ve only just learned of this game, but it looks pretty neat, so I’m excited!

The science checks out. One of my favorite games is Dragon Seeds on the PS1. It’s actually a really awful game, but the soundtrack alone shot it from a 2 to an 8 on a scale of 10 for me.
